Nucoda FilmMaster

Our Colourist delivers beautifully graded and finished pictures using the world-leading Nucoda FilmMaster from Image Systems. Exceptionally powerful and working in real time, the system is capable of handling a wide variety of tapeless formats.  The Nucoda’s ability to read and edit media direct from the Unity network means that image quality is preserved and costs are kept down.  As part of this tape-free conform-to-grade workflow, the Nucoda then outputs the graded film straight onto the Unity network.   This means that the online suites can access the final graded material directly from the network with all original edit effects intact.

Notable features of the Nucoda include previously unachievable sky replacements, multi-layer and tracking beauty work, GenArts Sapphire plugins and high-end compositing, which includes greenscreen, bluescreen and VFX mattes.  Using Nucoda we are capable of delivering content in all worldwide formats and in Standard and High Definition Broadcast quality and up to 4K Cinema quality.

Nucoda’s exclusive Clarity DVO Tool is recognised as the market leader for noise reduction, image enhancement, restoration and conversion. This has proven excellent for cleaning up some of those noisier HD formats and getting the very best look from older, or poor quality, archive footage.

Our colour grading suite also offers real-time playback, audio monitoring, stereoscopic 3D, instant background rendering and real-time output to multiple tape or file formats from the same timeline.
